My name is Jim Urbain, I am a photographer based in Luxembourg (Europe), with a strong passion for portrait and people photography.

My journey into photography began while traveling for 8 months through south-east Asia back in 2004.
I was fascinated by the cultures and the people I met and realized quickly that photography would be my way to capture the moments and the experiences I shared with the locals.

Since then I´ve become more and more interested in the fundamentals and techniques of digital photography; upgraded my photo-gear progressively and became fascinated by the possibilities of “off-camera flash photography” (strobist-approach).
